Top quality pair of regency dining chairs in mahogany attributed to T Jones of Liverpool.The Jones Family where cabinet makers working in Liverpool 1787-1839. Thomas Jones was a member of that family trading from Webster Street in Liverpool around 1818. The chairs are stamped with his name.This pair of chairs have sabre rear legs and turned and reeded front legs,there is a large back support bar to the top rail,and the over padded seats are round fronted in shape,these two chairs are very stronge in construction,and sturdy in all resects,both are very fine examples,seat pads are a dusky rose in colour.
